Rev. Laburn D. "Tony"
Saxon -Savannah- Rev. Laburn D. "Tony" Saxon, 68, of Savannah, died
Friday, Oct 6, 2006 at Candler Hospital. He was born in Marlow, Ga.,
July 25, 1938, and had lived in Savannah since 1961. He was the
Beloved Pastor of Fort Argyle Full Gospel Fellowship, in Savannah,
for the past 13 years, and had previously spent 20 years in
Evangelical Music Ministry.
He is survived by his
wife of 46 years, Betty Dickerson Saxon, of Savannah, GA; children,
Patti Nelms, of Savannah, GA; Tonya Geraca of Savannah, GA; Tony
Saxon, Jr., of Rincon, GA and Sandra Burnsed of Bloomingdale, Ga; brothers and sisters,
Ray Saxon of Statesboro, GA, Brenda Saxon, Linda Saxon Lowe, and
Richard Saxon all of Marlow, GA and Larry Saxon of Guyton, GA, 11
grandchildren, and two great grandchildren, and a number of nieces
and nephews. Memorial Services: 7 - 9 p.m. Monday, Oct 9, 2006 at
Fort Argyle Full Gospel Fellowship, on Hwy 204, approximately 3
miles West of I-95, with Rev. Douglas Lane, officiating. In lieu of
